Synopsis

From filmmaker Jang Jin, the man behind such hit films as 2001's Guns and Talks and the 2004's Someone Special, comes The Big Scene
(2005), an innovative new movie that features an exciting blend of both mystery and comedy! When the body of a beautiful woman is discovered in an upscale Seoul hotel room, the police rush to crack the case. Soon enough, the cops have a suspect in custody - Kim Young Hoon (Shin Ha Kyun, from Save The Green Planet and My Brother). Things start to intensify when hard-nosed prosecutor Choi Yeon Hee (Cha Seung Won, from Ghost House and Teacher Mr. Kim) takes up the case and begins interrogating the enigmatic suspect. But things aren't going to be as easy as the authorities had hoped. For one, their investigation is in danger of being compromised by a local television station that will stop at nothing to broadcast every little detail about the case on live TV. Even worse, they may have the wrong guy; signs point to Kim not being the real killer. Although as a prime suspect he certainly acts a little strange, he passes the lie detector test. Thus, it's up to prosecutor Choi to go mano a mano with Kim to find the truth, when all the while their "Big Scene" is televised around the world courtesy of a tiny hidden camera.
